Our Goal for 2023 is to Fundraise $20,000 to Help Someone in Need Buy a Houj (Down Payment + CC)

How Will We Do This?

During 2023, we will donate the start of a house for someone in need. The plan will be to team up with local charities and a local low-income housing builder in the Tampa Bay Area to fundraise, build, and provide the downpayment/closing costs to an eligible candidate. Every $100 will provide a "Nomination Voucher" for the donor to designate to someone they think could use a house. 2x nominations are credited to the following people: Veterans, Single Mothers, and Widows. Every $50 donated will be rewarded with a "Houj" shirt and every $100 donated will be rewarded with a "Donated Houj" Hat. Ex: Janice is a widow you know, who works hard but is trapped in a rental. If you donate $100 and designate her, your 1 nomination will turn into 2 for the sake of raffle entries and you'll recieve 2 "houj" shirts and a "Gave Houj" Hat- quite a value. Every donor of $500+ will be invited to our VIP Donor Event where we perform the raffle, share drinks and have fun all around.

Methods of Fundraising

• Community Fund Raising Events

• Cash or Venmo/Cashapp Donations- will be recorded and updated on the "Accountability Page"

• $200 from all sales I make in 2023 and 2024 if necessary will be automatically added to the Houj fund

• Any profit from sales of Houj related merchandise will go toward the goal

• Any commission listed toward the sale of the property will be credited in full to the buyer

  • Loan Officer

  • Event hosting/fundraising venue

  • CPA to help establish 501-C3 status

  • Low Income Housing Builder

  • Donate or sponsor the charity!

Eligibility

• Candidates must qualify with the following criteria:

  • Must qualify for an FHA, VA, or Conventional Loan

  • Must not have an ownership interest in any property

  • Must be currently renting or dwelling with family

  • Must be free of criminal records regarding fraud, violence, domestic abuse, sexual crimes, theft, larceny
